Patient transfer is a routine task, yet it carries significant physical and emotional risk for both patients and caregivers. Developed as part of a Product / Design Studio, Comfort Aid addresses the challenges of safe and efficient patient movement within hospital environments. Through field research, stakeholder interviews, and iterative prototyping, the project explores how ergonomics, simplicity, and caregiver-friendly design can reduce strain, minimize mishandling, and improve overall transfer safety.
